Your art work is among the very best of spec evo that I have ever seen! (that is, together with TMHOTW by vcubestudios, the work of Hyrotrioskjan, the work of KenBarthelmey, and the Spec Dino project, of course).

And a very well elaborated world. Only thing that I regret is the equatorial ice belt, very improbable, i.e. hard to model in world building.
I have been thinking about a planet that is 90 degrees tilted, but even that would not create an equatorial ice belt, just very extreme seasonal differences: the sun (or rather, its star) would apparently move between the two poles during the year. So, the equatorial regions would at the same time be the polar regions. Hard to imagine, how life would be adapted to such extremes.
The other end would be a planet with no axial tilt at all, resulting in no seasons, roughly the same weather at the same latitude all year round.

See for instance the Worldbuilding Stackexchange site.

I am trying to realistically model a bigger and extraordinarily lush planet, fascinating but not easy.

Keep up the good work.

This is amazing! Not only are your designs beautiful, creative, and so natural-looking, but the incredible THOUGHT you put into the information about each creature blows my mind! You should publish this as a book or something!

While I can't say that I like Sheatheria as much as your other works, it's still a great job nonetheless.

Sheatheria was the first project, so it isn't as thought out.

Oh that's fine, it was just a bit confusing too me, but now I understand.

This reminds me of Primeval if it happened on an alien planet instead of earth.

I would just like to say, Sheather888, that Sheatheria is by far the best speculative evolution project I've ever seen. You put so much work into this project and it is amazing! Additionally, your entries on Speculative Evolution zetaboards are very in depth and informative. I love the Manguar, by the way: I think that's my favorite.

I have an idea similar to the Manguar, except it is from an entirely different group of animals: terrestrial crocodiles, like Quinkana. Except this species is arboreal and nocturnal, and since it is the apex predator, its skin is smooth, allowing it to change color depending on surroundings and mood. It also has a grasping appendage at the end of its tail. What do you think?

This project definitely deserves some animation, music and audible narration. :)
