Danger is No Stranger Here

It is early spring now, and a herd of greater ringneck Anserasaurs - also known as "brachiosaur quailephants" - cross the dangerous mountain pass from their southern winter feeding ground to the summer grasslands where they breed, passing near a family of hippogriffs and far below a lazily-soaring swiftlet. For these immense animals - Sheatheria's tallest vertebrates - it is the most dangerous time of year as the mountains hold steep, uneven terrain and danger at every corner. A small group of stagmeres flees beneath their feet - but it's not the big griffons they fear.
