Description
The common badger bear, Meleursus occiderus, is among the most adaptable and wide-ranging animals found in Novacene-era Earth, with a range covering the whole of the Northern hemisphere. Normally a scavenger and a forager of plant matter, these animals aren't opposed to an occasional meal of fresh meat, particularly if the creature is lucky enough to sneak up upon an already wounded prey animal as depicted here. Caught unaware, this young doe stands little chance of escape. Knowing that where there is predation there are scraps to glean, scavenging corvids remarkably unchanged from modern forms are already gathering.
